Excited to start another STEPFUL year for 2026 with all of you! Classes will resume Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 (LEI AREAAA SATURDAYS). As a reminder whether you are returning to classes or new to Lei Areaaa, class schedule and registration is posted week by week basis, every Sunday by 5pm pst on my website! 2025 was a GREAT year, excited for what’s to come for 2026!

BETTER TOGETHER: GLOW UP AND RESET WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE 2026!

Better Together is BACK for a Reset & Glow Up Weight Loss Challenge — 2026 Edition! Are you ready to get your health back on track and shed some of that 2025 weight? This 4-week challenge is all about accountability as a team, coming together to reset habits, refocus on fitness, and glow up into a healthier version of YOU for 2026. Participants will take part in daily and weekly challenges, homework assignments, workouts, class participation check-ins, weekly weigh-ins, and both solo and team activities. For more information and to sign up, register for our VIRTUAL orientation on Sunday, January 4th, 2026 at 8:00 PM PST, where all challenge details will be discussed—orientation attendance is required to participate. The challenge runs from Saturday, January 10th through Saturday, February 7th, 2026. Join us as we RESET & GLOW UP together and step into a healthier, stronger 2026—Better Together! ✨

WELCOME TO LEI AREAAA where we do things the Xtreme way! We offer a variety of Xtreme Hiphop step aerobic classes, Xtreme burn full body cardio classes, building stamina and muscle, and line dance classes that suit all fitness levels. We are all about making fitness fun while burning major calories. This is your safe space for hitting those fitness goals! No judgement, join us, and let’s get active! We promise a good time and a good workout! All classes are based in Walnut Creek and Concord, California.

We offer weekly classes that fit all fitness levels. classes that tailor all levels of step, with opportunities to grow. Lei Areaaa was birthed in 2020 and we are now in our 5th year teaching Xtreme classes here in THE BAY AREA, CA.

Special themed classes are also offered through out the year, from slow jams night, 90’s music, old school vs. new school, gospel step classes, and more. We provide this safe space that has allowed many to experience a good time while burning major calories. Who said working out can’t be fun?! We believe that every opportunity we have to get up and move is a blessing.

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Leila, born and raised from the bay area , california. growing up i’ve always had an interest in dance and movement. since the age of 7 to my mid twenties, I danced tahitian with a few dance groups performing and competing all over the bay area. I love being in a space of creativity with dancing and performing. during the pandemic I started xtreme hiphop stepping with the creator of xtreme hiphop during his live youtube sessions. This eventually led me to getting certified as an instructor under his brand in 2020.

I am the FIRST POLYNESIAN XTREME HIPHOP CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR in the xtreme brand! A movement that has inspired over 100 Polynesians worldwide to get certified and now currently teaching Xtreme classes worldwide. I've hosted multiple step events for the Bay Area and corporate Xtreme events for the creator of Xtreme Hiphop Phil Weeden. I am also one of the creators of Poly Step Fest, an annual step event where we embrace the impact of Xtreme Hiphop amongst our Polynesian communities worldwide. Over 25+ of my students are now certified Xtreme Hiphop instructors teaching classes all over the Bay Area which is a huge contribution to the growth of xtreme in the bay area. I love being able to share my passion in this brand as well as bringing the community together for a better purpose. I look forward to what's to come for Xtreme Hiphop with Leila and the Bay Area Xtreme community.

In 2021 I received the award of Most Supportive Xtreme Hip Hop Instructor of the Year, by the Xtreme Hip Hop Step by Phil brand. In 2022 I received the prestigous award of Xtreme Hip Hop Step Instructor of the Year. A title I am most proud of! in 2024 i was awarded the light em up instructor of the year for my creative work on the step with my choreographed routines that has inspired many instructors in the brand worldwide. I am so thankful and grateful to be able to do what I love, inspiring everyone to get up and move one step at a time in a space of no judgement.. I look forward to sharing my love for this brand with those who wish to experience Xtreme for years to come. Let’s Grow! Welcome to Lei Areaaa!
